Retail Sales Associate

A retail sales associate is responsible for serving customers in a friendly, courteous manner. An associate will work with other members of the team to stock shelves, package products, and assist customers. An associate may also be responsible to cut deli meat and cheese. This is a part-time opportunity, approximately 20-36 hours per week. Pine Ridge Grocery offers a fun and fast-paced work environment with competitive pay.

Requirements:

1. Proficient in verbal and written English language
2. Solid communication and interpersonal skills
3. Ability to read, write and effectively communicate with customers, peers and management
4. Ability to multi-task, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business
5. Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision
6. Physical demands: This position involves constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing and standing for at least two consecutive hours. May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching and climbing ladders
7. Enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
8. Available to work a variety of hours, including weekends
9. At least 18 years old
10. Previous retail or deli experience preferred
